Hayashibara
International, is the international business of the Hayashibara Company,
Okayama Japan. Founded in 1883, as a starch processing company, we
have, through our continued commitment to research and development,
become acknowledged as a leading innovator in carbohydrate technology.
Our commitment to research resulted in us becoming the first company
in the world to commercially manufacture glucose enzymatically from
starch, something we achieved in 1959, using a process which was to
become the industry standard internationally. Hayashibara Co., Ltd. became a member of Nagase Group on 1 February, 2012.
